Just a forty five minute drive south of Sitges lies the historic city of Tarragona in all its glory. The city is a famous Roman city, awash with light and colour, it’s the capital of the province of the same name.

Tarragona oozes history and culture, but that’s not all. Along with the historic ancient monuments, cathedral and amphitheatre there is a lovely marina, great beaches and a classy boulevard with some great shops, bars and typical Spanish restaurants offering great food and wine, at sensible prices. For a ‘Menu del Dia,’ that’s a lovely three course lunch with wine, expect to pay around just 16 euros.

For people that really appreciate culture and history, we can offer you an official guided tour of Tarragona, incorporating lunch, alternatively you may wish to wander around the town alone and explore all the sights at your leisure. Whatever you decide, you are bound to have a memorable day in Tarragona. Be sure to take your camera to capture those special moments.
